I'm one of those people who create those beautiful food photos in those publications.
Hi, My name is Felicite Ross I'm a
food photographer that works for
Foodlagniappe. Not only I work as a food photographer also I'm a mother of three beautiful daughters and a grandmother of two awesome grandchildren Kai and Sani. And I can't forget my granddogs Snoopy. Gucci and Themis. When I'm not taking beautiful food photos I'm working in my garden, creating art and cooking for my beautiful family.
As a matter of fact, I think it's time to share my funny story about how became a food photographer. Most people wouldn't think it's true but it is. The story goes like this Saturday morning I decide to cook myself a nice breakfast and eat at the kitchen table.
I will never forget it the sun was shining bright through the patio window onto my gorgeous breakfast. At that moment I wish had a camera to take picture of my breakfast. I told my boyfriend this is food photo moment. He replied, "Yes, baby I think should do it!"So you see I wasn't inspire from my favorite food, fruit or recipe but the sun light shining beautifully onto the kitchen table. Yes, natural light inspired me to be food photography. Crazy huh!
Now here's where the real treat come into play I have decide to let you into my food photography journey. I'm truly excited about The Blue Plate magazine because it highlights my intimate moments on how I create the food photos for the magazine.
